Louis, who heads the Litigation Department at Johan Coetzee Inc., is a director of the firm. He also works closely with colleagues in other departments, understanding that a multi-disciplinary approach is often the best course of action for an effective solution.
Louis matriculated from Grey College, Bloemfontein, in 1993. He then joined his father on the family farm in the Free State. After obtaining his LL.B degree from the University of South Africa in 2002, he made the long trek from the Free State to Pretoria to further his legal career. He was admitted as an attorney in 2004. Louis joined the firm in 2016 and was appointed as a director the following year.
He has a passion for litigation and has gained unparalleled experience in all aspects of Magistrates’ Court and High Court litigation. Louis approaches all matters, irrespective of their nature or scope, with focus and intent in order to find the best possible solution, and to ensure that the clients’ needs are met and their matters resolved as quickly, efficiently and expertly as possible.
Being an avid reader with a great love of books, he has complied an extensive library on a broad range of subjects. He is also a keen hunter.
